Bude & North Cornwall Golf Club

Founded in 1891. Bude is a traditional seaside links course designed by Tim Dunn. It is situated in the centre of the town, close to the sea and beaches. The course is playable all year round and provides spectacular views together with outstanding greens.

Bowood Park Golf & Country Club

A championship length course, opened in June 1992, which is set in 230 acres of rolling hills and woodlands on land that was mentioned in the Domesday Book as the Deer Park of the Black Prince. With 26 lakes and ponds and superb greens built to USPGA specifications to provide year round golf, this course is one of the finest parkland courses in the South West.

Holsworthy Golf Club

Founded in 1931. Considered by many to be one of the finest examples of parkland golf in North Devon, Holsworthy is well worth a visit. This par 70 course, boasting some of the best greens in the area, is an enjoyable experience for golfers of all standards. With views across the tranquil Devon countryside and beyond to Dartmoor, tree lined fairways and numerous water hazards, Holsworthy is sure to be an experience you will enjoy.

Lanhydrock Golf & Country Club

Opened in 1991. Part parkland and part moorland, Lanhydrock is owned by the Bond family who used to own the St Mellion group of golf courses. This course features numerous brooks and water hazards plus tree lined fairways where accuracy of shot is required. The course provides an enjoyable challenge and is one of the most popular courses in Cornwall.

Nestling between the Quantock, Brendon and Blackdown Hills, Oake Manor is located in some of Somerset's most beautiful countryside and offers wonderful views together with a superb golf course. A series of lakes, cascades and a trout stream run through the course, creating water hazards on 10 of the 18 holes. Roserrow Golf & Country Club

Roserrow, which opened in 1997, is Cornwall's newest golf course. Set in 400 acres of unspoilt countryside near the Camel Estuary, this course has been designed to test the skills of the experienced golfer. Roserrow is one of the few courses in the country to have a fully automated irrigation system on the fairways as well as the tees and greens to ensure optimum playing conditions.

Royal North Devon Golf Club

Founded in 1863. The oldest links course in England, designed by Tom Morris. Royal North Devon is a long, fairly flat, demanding golf course which offers wonderful views over Bideford Bay to Lundy Island. Steeped in tradition, the clubhouse houses one of the finest museums of golfing memorabilia in the country and is well worth a visit for those interested in the history of the game of golf.

Founded in 1897. The East course, which has been the venue for many major championships, was recently rated by Golf World as the 25th best course in the UK. St Enodoc Golf Club

Founded in 1890 and designed by James Braid, St Enodoc has a 12th Century Church in the middle of the course where John Betjeman, the Poet Laureate, is buried. The club also claims to have the highest sand bunker in the world which rises 60 feet above the fairway on the 6th hole. Undoubtedly, the Church course is one of the finest links courses in the South West and provides stunning views from virtually every position over the Padstow Estuary to the sea. Handicap certificates of 24 or below for gentlemen and 28 for ladies are required for the Church course.

Founded in 1976. One of the finest parkland courses in Europe. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, the Nicklaus course was the venue for the Benson & Hedges International Open until 1995 and part of the European PGA Tour. Surrounded by the Nicklaus Course, the Kernow Course is a pleasant to play parkland course with wide fairways and lovely views, suitable for all standards of golfer. Guests of the Camelot may use the indoor leisure complex for a small charge.

Trethorne Golf Club & Driving Range

Founded in 1993. Once voted "probably the best 9 hole golf course in the country" by Fore magazine. The course has now been extended to 18 holes and improved by the installation of computer controlled irrigation on all the greens to produce a testing parkland course which is playable in all weather conditions. Trethorne is set in 120 acres of glorious, flowing countryside and the club has an excellent 10 bay driving range and a new clubhouse.

Trevose Golf Club

Designed by Harry Colt, renowned for such courses as Muirfield, Wentworth and Lytham, this Championship links course, situated near Trevose Head, has superb views over Constantine Bay. A test of golf on a calm day, but as with all Cornish links, takes no prisoners when the weather turns. Wide fairways and short rough ensure not too many balls are lost and keep play moving. The Oaks is a championship length course designed and built by J. Hamilton-Stutt. Set in approximately 500 acres of Devonshire countryside, this stunning course incorporates lakes and woodland together with a hint of heathland. Previously owned by Nigel Mansell, Woodbury has a luxury club house and seperate museum housing two Formula 1 cars and various racing memorabilia, together with excellent indoor leisure facilities.
