Golfers Club and Courses in Cornwall
For dozens of UK golf societies the Camelot in Bude is the only place to go for their annual tour. They return year after year, many booking next year’s trip even before they have finished the current one.
We make life as easy as possible for the group leader - we book all the tee times and make any changes to the booking as, inevitably, numbers and requirements change. Our aim is to ensure that from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave everything runs faultlessly.
We double check all tee time reservations with the clubs and issue the golf tickets for you each morning, together with directions to the course. We are confident that everyone will love the food in our award winning restaurant. Our meal times are flexible enough to adapt to your itinerary and the bar stays open until late.
The Camelot Hotel Golfer's Club Loyalty Scheme
Following our tenth anniversary celebrations which saw the launch of our Camelot Hotel Golfers Club, we are pleased to announce our new promotion for the 2011 golfing season.
Golf Group Discounts:
As before, we will continue to offer golf hotel package discounts in relation to the number of guests staying. For parties of between six and eleven guests, we offer a 5% discount on the published tariff and for groups of 12 or more the discount is 10%.
Loyalty Rewards:
In line with other promotions, we will now be giving each group staying for dinner, bed & breakfast a loyalty reward based on 10% of the accommodation tariff charged on your last visit. As we know that on many occasions your groups expand or contract, it seems that the fairest way to allot the loyalty rewards is to the group as a whole and based on the numbers revisiting.
Free Hotel Welcome Packs and Golf Trophies:
New golfing groups coming to the Camelot in Bude will be given a welcoming package of gifts worth between £26 and £50 depending on the length of the Dinner, Bed & Breakfast stay. In addition new golfing groups will also receive gifts worth £2 per person per night to be presented as prizes on the final evening of their stay. In addition, the Club will present the winner of each group of six or more with an engraved trophy which will be kept in our Trophy Cabinet for competition in future years.
The Camelot Golfer's Cup
The second Camelot Cup competition was held on the weekend of Friday 23rd & Saturday 24th April 2010. The competition, played on a beautiful Saturday morning over the Bude links, was made slightly more difficult with a gentle breeze which tested all of those who competed. With honours fairly even at the turn the more difficult back nine produced some exciting golf and a close run result.
The winner, Peter Wilkie won the event with a total of 31 points, just one point ahead of last years winner Jeff Pullin, and proudly took home a voucher for £350 to use in conjunction with his group’s next visit to the hotel. Well done Peter and everyone else who competed and we are all looking forward to next years event. If you did not send a team this year, make sure to ask about the event on your next visit.
