Golfers Club and Courses in Cornwall
THE NEW CAMELOT HOTEL GOLFERS CLUB LOYALTY SCHEME 2010
Following our tenth anniversary celebrations which saw the launch of our Camelot Hotel Golfers Club, we are pleased to announce our new promotion for the 2010 golfing season.
As before, we will continue to offer golfing groups discounts in relation to the number of guests staying. For parties of between six and eleven guests, we offer a 5% discount on the published tariff and for groups of 12 or more the discount is 10%.
In line with other promotions, we will now be giving each group staying on an inclusive rate for dinner, bed & breakfast loyalty reward based on 10% of the accommodation tariff charged on your last visit. As we know that on many occasions your groups expand or contract, it seems that the fairest way to allot the loyalty rewards is to the group as a whole and based on the numbers revisiting.
For example: If you visited us last year and the tariff rate was £150 per person for the stay, we would allocate £15 per person for the coming year. If your group numbered 15 on your last visit and you returned with the same number, the loyalty account would be £225. However, if your group grew to 20, we would extend the loyalty to £300. The arrangement would also work in reverse, in that if only 12 instead of the 15 were to return, your loyalty would drop to £180.
New golfing groups coming to the Camelot in Bude will be given a welcoming package of gifts worth between £26 and £50 depending on the length of the Dinner, Bed & Breakfast stay.
In addition new golfing groups will also receive gifts worth £2 per person per night to be presented as prizes on the final evening of their stay. In addition, the Club will present the winner of each group of six or more with an engraved trophy which will be kept in our Trophy Cabinet for competition in future years.
THE CAMELOT CUP
The second Camelot Cup competition was held on the weekend of Friday 23rd & Saturday 24th April 2010. The competition, played on a beautiful Saturday morning over the Bude links, was made slightly more difficult with a gentle breeze which tested all of those who competed. With honours fairly even at the turn the more difficult back nine produced some exciting golf and a close run result. The winner, Peter Wilkie won the event with a total of 31 points, just one point ahead of last years winner Jeff Pullin, and proudly took home a voucher for £350 to use in conjunction with his group’s next visit to the hotel. Well done Peter and everyone else who competed and we are all looking forward to next years event. If you did not send a team this year, make sure to ask about the event on your next visit.
