Hawker's Restaurant
Our award winning hotel restaurant is named after the Reverend Hawker, a celebrated Cornish poet and historical figure. Hawkers has always been recognised for its high quality, and is widely regarded as the best restaurant in Bude.
We aim to serve top quality food lovingly prepared, imaginatively served and presented in a relaxing and elegant environment.
We only use the best of fresh ingredients throughout and always take the fullest advantage of seasonal produce. Wherever practical, our seafood comes direct from local Cornish boats.
Our meat is all sourced locally and is specially selected for us by our own butcher. Fresh vegetables are delivered to us daily and our cheese board features cheeses made within two miles of the hotel.
Hawkers Menu and Wine List
Our menu changes often and highlights fine dining in Cornwall that uses the best local ingredients, skilled chefs and friendly service to make sure your meal with us is the best you've had. Recently we have completely reappraised our wine list and have added new, exciting wines from a range of countries. We are confident that diners will find the new wine list attractive, well balanced and very reasonably priced. Click here to view our updated wine list.
Hawkers Restaurant Dining Club
For regular diners at Hawkers Restaurant there is Hawkers Dining Club. Membership is just £10, all of which is donated to local charities. Recent beneficiaries have been a home for children with learning difficulties and the Bude Community Cinema.
Dining Club members are entitled to 10% discount on all our delicious dishes and also receive advance notification of our themed evenings and events. These events are always popular and Dining Club members are given priority when booking tickets.

Special Events at Hawkers Restaurant
Hawkers is the perfect location for that special anniversary dinner, birthday or celebration. Our chefs are confident that they can prepare food that will wow you every time!
The restaurant can cater to groups of up to fifty people and represents a quality venue that can provide a great atmosphere for your special night.
The restaurant regularly holds special evenings for guests and local residents, these events vary from themed restaurant evenings to our always popular wine tasting nights. We give our dining club members first notification of these events so tickets often sell out fast!
