Gun storage - we have a cabinet for your guns.

Insurance - you must have adequate third party insurance to the value of at least £1,000,000. We recommend membership of BASC (British Association for Shooting and Conservation) which provides automatic cover. We also ask that you insure your guns as the hotel insurance will not cover loss or damage to them while you are staying with us.

Dogs - we have a limited number of bedrooms where dogs are welcome, if they are not too muddy! We make a £8 charge per night and dogs are excluded from the bar lounge and restaurant. Alternatively we can arrange kennelling, though many dogs prefer to sleep in the back of their owners car (some rooms overlook the car park and vehicles can be parked close to these rooms).

Drying facilities - we have a drying room with dehumidifier and tumble drier.

Cartridges - there is a gunsmith in Bude if you need to replenish supplies. For snipe shooting we recommend size 7 shot as this is still large enough to take a pheasant should the opportunity arise.

Deposit - we require a deposit of 25% for all sport booked through the hotel.

Rifle shooting - although the hotel does not organise rifle shooting there is a local rifle club that welcomes visitors. Visit their website Tamar Rangers Rifle Club.
